The Problem
Perform Data Track manages examination results and assessment data for a training provider. Before this project, results were stored across multiple spreadsheets and managed manually — a process that was fragmented, error-prone, and difficult to review at scale.
Key pain points:

Approach
I built a straightforward internal portal focused on doing one thing well: making it easy for staff to store, find, and review examination results accurately.
The system includes secure user authentication, structured data entry forms with validation, and search and filter tools so staff can quickly locate results by student, cohort, or assessment date. A reporting interface lets administrators review performance data without needing to export anything manually.
The database was designed with data integrity as the priority — consistent formats, input validation, and no duplicate records. The interface was kept deliberately simple: no unnecessary features, just the tools the team actually needed.
Results
The portal replaced a manual, fragmented process with a single reliable system:
- Eliminated spreadsheet dependency — all examination results now live in one secure, searchable database
